## Connect SMB [#connect-smb]

Create or open `~/.cursor/mcp.json` and add:

Then open **Cursor Settings → Tools & MCP**, enable SMB, and sign in if prompted.

## Check the connection [#check-the-connection]

In Cursor CLI, run `agent mcp list`. If SMB requires sign-in, run `agent mcp login smb`.
